Former Wales and British & Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton enjoyed an extraordinary career at the very highest level of the game. Renowned for his leadership both on and off the pitch, he captained Wales a record 49 times and led his country to Six Nations success. He also captained the British & Irish Lions on two tours, including their historic series victory in Australia in 2013 and the memorable drawn series against the All Blacks in New Zealand in 2017.

Having spent nearly two decades crafting wines at some of South Africa’s most celebrated estates, including almost ten years as Chief Winemaker at Boekenhoutskloof, Jean has also honed his craft in some of the world’s most renowned wine regions, from Napa Valley and California’s Russian River Valley to Marlborough in New Zealand and Côte-Rôtie in France. Today, his focus is on producing wines that express the unique character of exceptional vineyards, creating elegant, site-driven wines that have earned international acclaim.
